About Us
Clay Huckaby and Josh Mackey established Capital City Public Affairs in 2019, building on their achievements during the 2018 election. After amassing years of experience working with various government and public affairs firms, their objective was to create a collaborative venture that would offer unparalleled services and access to their clients. Simultaneously, they aimed to strategically align themselves with like-minded individuals who shared their vision, ethics, and fervor for delivering value to both clients and elected officials.
Mr. Huckaby, an early supporter of Governor Kemp during the election, now serves as a board member of Keeping Georgia Strong, Inc., a 501c4 organization dedicated to advancing policies and issues championed by Republican leaders like Governor Kemp. Mr. Mackey, on the other hand, played a pivotal role as a Senior Advisor in Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan’s successful primary and general election campaigns in 2018. He also served as the Finance Co-Chair during the General Election.
In 2020, Kash Trivedi joined Capital City as a partner, contributing to the realization of the company’s thriving vision. His partnership with Mr. Huckaby and Mr. Mackey on various client projects solidified his role. In addition to Mr. Trivedi’s impressive track record in both corporate and consulting roles, he also served as a policy advisor to Governor Kemp during his successful campaign.
